With great anticipation, Music in the Vineyards welcomes back music lovers for an in-person chamber music festival this summer, August 4-22, 2021! Our 27th annual festival will feature award-winning artists, beautiful Napa Valley settings and complimentary wine tasting, and the witty concert commentary that Music in the Vineyards is known for. Concerts will be held at twilight on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in beautiful indoor and outdoor settings at a reduced seating capacity. The festival features 12 in-person concerts and 4 virtual concerts performed in charming settings at famous wineries including Domaine Carneros, Frog’s Leap, Sang-Froid, Charles Krug, Chimney Rock, Silverado, Robert Mondavi, Hess, Clos Pegase, and Inglenook. Featured musicians include the Escher, Miró, and Solideo Quartets; violinists Gabrielle Després, Axel Strauss; violists Pei-Ling Lin, Dimitri Murrath, and Masumi Per Rostad; cellists Edward Aaron, Nicholas Canellakis, Kari Jane Docter, and Tanya Tomkins; pianists Michael Brown, Wei-Yi Yang, and Eric Zivian, bassist Scott Pingel, and guitarist Jason Vieaux.
