Adult Religious Education — 9:30 AM Jim Petka, “When Things Go Wrong” It happens to most of us. Despite our best intentions, something went dreadfully wrong. You suffered a heartbreaking loss, made a terrible mistake, or got blindsided by an injury. Life is hard when things go wrong and we often feel an initial sense of disbelief and shock. Some of us can’t get past pain, anger or denial when things go wrong; which rarely changes the situation. Some of us find the inner strength to face these situations and emerge from the bad times wiser and stronger. Many of us need the love and support of others to move forward. Ultimately, we chose how to react. How have you confronted the tragedies and adversities of life? Were you able to focus on being whole again? Who or what helped you keep going and move on? Main Service — 10:30 AM UU Congregation, Santa Rosa Rev. Julie Brock and Era Capone, “Cultivating Curiosity” How to move from anxiety and fear to curiosity in times of transition and change. Social Hour — ten minutes after completion of the service Visit nvuu.org for service links.
